Microsoft introduced an AI service for creating individual AI assistants Copilot Studio

Microsoft’s new Copilot Studio. It’s a no-code solution that allows businesses to create custom copilots or integrate custom ChatGPT AI chatbots. Copilot Studio is designed to extend Microsoft 365 Copilot, which was launched recently. With Copilot Studio, businesses can customize the Copilot in Microsoft 365 by including datasets, automation flows, and even custom copilots that are not part of the Microsoft Graph.

Jared Spataro, the head of modern work and business applications at Microsoft, mentioned that Copilot Studio makes it simple to build AI assistants and connect them to key business systems. IT admins can use natural language or a graphical interface in Copilot Studio to link new data sources from partners like SAP, Workday, ServiceNow, and more. They can also create and publish custom copilots.

According to Spataro, Copilot Studio allows users to describe what they want in natural language, and the tool will help them build and iterate the conversation design. This could be a copilot on a website to answer product queries or a copilot inside a quarterly earnings release.

Copilot Studio also provides IT admins with the ability to monitor usage and analytics of copilots, as well as control over who can build custom copilots. Additionally, it serves as a hub for integrating custom ChatGPT chatbots created using OpenAI’s GPT platform. Microsoft and OpenAI have a strategic partnership, and they aim to make it easy to integrate OpenAI’s services within Microsoft’s ecosystem.

The announcement of Copilot Studio is part of Microsoft’s broader AI push for Copilot, which includes new features for businesses, a rebranding of Bing Chat, and the development of custom CPU and AI chips to enhance the AI-powered experiences.
